NEW PATTERN: Bravo Indigo Quilt

My newest pattern Bravo Indigo (81"x61") is available for FREE from the Michael Miller Fabrics Website (just click on the 'download instructions' link)
If you decide to make it, use the hashtag on Instagram #bravoindigoquilt to show others what you're doing with the pattern and to see inspiration from others.

Here are a few glamour shots of the quilt before it was sent off to Michael Miller Fabrics and displayed at Quilt Market

I can't wait to see your creations and personal approaches to this quilt.
Enjoy!
Caroline

EDIT: The original 81"x 61" sized free pattern is no longer available on the Michael Miller website. I have rewritten the pattern to be a touch more economic on fabric and also to be QUEEN SIZE as I was receiving requests for this size. You can find the new version for sale in my craftsy.com store.

  2. This quilt is stunning and incredible. It reminds me of the collection Four Corners from Simple Simon and Company. I just saw this collection on this website Patternjam.com It is awesome! You can custom create your own quilt by choosing size of block, sashing, borders, and what type of blocks or customize patterns they already have on their site. You can choose from the material on their site or upload your own. It's so cool. Once you are done creating your quilt it will tell you how much fabric you need of each material as well. Just had to share.

  4. Beautifully modern! The pattern seems to have been removed from Michael Miller's page. The only thing showing up are the fabrics you used and a picture of the quilt. Is this pattern available anywhere else and/or for sale?

    Thanks for sharing your talents!

  10. Made this quilt. Easier than I thought, but yardage does not include binding, FYI. It really is beautiful and would be pretty in other color combos as well.

  11. I started this quilt, but on page 4 I find a discrepancy in Instructions for Block 1. It says to cut a 5" and a 3" triangle of color C. Yet step 3 uses a 2 1/2" square of color C over the triangle of color B.

The cutting instructions on page 3 call for cutting 2 1/2" squares of color C. I don't find any cutting instructions for 3" squares.

Can someone who has made this pattern please clarify this for me?

  12. Maybe I answered my own question...When a 3" triangle is as for Block 1, is that referring to the long edge of a 2 1/2 half square triangle?

  13. This pattern isn't on the Michael Miller website anymore. Where else could I get this pattern?

  15. If you are having problems on the Michael Miller website, try Paula Z's suggestion:

    It worked for me.

  16. I like the pattern but I can't tell if it would work for the project I'm thinking about doing because I can't see the full quilt in the photo. Looking at the center "medallion" is it actually in the center with one repeat of the design above it and one below? The top as it shows in the photo looks like the top and maybe also the bottom center "medallion" is not the full medallipn like in the middle. Also are the finished half square triangles 4 1/2 inches?

  17. Hi Caroline, I bought the pattern in your craftsy.com shop for 8 something Euro. An hour later I found it for free on another page. I find it not acceptable, that a pattern that can be bought is also in the internet for free. I am disappointed about that. Still with kind regards. Antje
